Hispanics @ NBCU
An animated HTML5 experience
The goal of this effort was to help educate media buyers and planners about the opportunity and value of partnering with this new division of NBCUniversal, called Hispanics at NBCU (founded in 2011), to reach the influential Hispanic market.
For this campaign, we were tasked with increasing brand awareness to introduce NBCU’s audience of media buyers to the Hispanics at NBCU vertical and drive partnership potential. In keeping the audience in mind, GLOW created a 5-part campaign that was refreshed each week for 5 weeks featuring updated information on the Hispanic market via an HTML5 infographic. These dynamic infographics served to educate media buyers in a fun, interactive way, which included active charts and images with educational information, such as a moving graph illustrating Hispanic population growth from 35 million to 50 million, as well as a visual breakdown of fastest-growing Hispanic populations in the leading states.
In addition to the HTML5 infographics, we also integrated a sweepstakes component during the live run of the campaign to help drive traffic. Each week, the first 1,500 registered media buyers won FANDANGO movie tickets and were automatically entered to the particular sweepstakes for that week. For example, week one awarded one lucky winner a trip for two to the Billboard Latin Music Awards presented by State Farm® on Telemundo.
