Barter Kings Social Barter Challenge
For the series premiere of A&Eʼs Barter Kings, a novel show following the thriving subculture of cashless trading, Glow teamed up with A&E network to design and develop the interactive experience behind their launch promotion, the Social Barter Kings Challenge. The challenge used 5 key social influencers to activate their audience and join in on the fun of bartering.
Users were provided a single destination hub to watch real people trade-up in real-time for the chance to be crowned Social Barter Kings. Each influencer started with a $250 item, with the grand prize winner eventually trading up for $40,000 package. From the online hub, users could tweet directly to the influencers to get in on the excitement or casually watch the progression and movement of the trades.
